Ok, thanks 👍
Asked the other needed map(s) coz Modern-Marianas is 14.3 GB
BTW: has the map become bigger ? Is Iwo Jima island included ? (Iwo Jima is just outside the boundaries of the Modern-Marianas map)

Are there Japanese AI airplanes included with the Corsair, or is the movie clip using extracurricular mods?

My rig is in my cool basement in Ohio. Not even 70° Fahrenheit down there.

degrees of freedom please!

I just recognized you have to download the Marianas map seperately, it's not included in the update.

It's 0 Kelvin here. I am somewhere between Sol and Proxima Centauri. No fan noise in space.

OMG Scott, That temperature is awfully high. You seem to be handling the heat very well, and so is your computer. :surprise:
BTW:
What's the temperature outside there ?

I had an A+++ air conditioning installed last autumn after 20 years (38cm width ceramic bricks + air gap + "breathing" insulation =(half a meter thick wall) + 3-layer glazing with argon in the windows, 22C inside, 32C outside without AC today), but I was more worried: if  the heating-gas will no longer come from Russia/Turkey/Kazakhstan?, so at least I could heat my study with electrically wintertime.

Would be better to avoid that for everyone: the next ice-age.
However an environmental ice-age sounds a bit  better than a thermonuclear ice-age.

Thankyou for the New Marianas WWII map its great. ( it was a 4.3 GB download on Steam )

Just a couple of quick notes -

1. At present the Narrow Gauge Sugar Mill Trains are just baked into the Islands Map at the Sugar Mills.

2. I cannot find the new Steam Locomotive or Sugar Train Wagons in the Mission Editor lists to place as User placed Trains or Static Objects.

3. Im not sure if ED have overlooked including them in all the excitement ?

4. The Railway Tracks are active and great for supply trains etc.

The Full size DCS Trains can be placed and will Run ok on the tracks but will upset the Emersion Somewhat due to their size and wheel gauge.

5. Its not a big problem - I have a fully animated 0-6-0 steam Locomotive i hacked together that needs the wheel gauge adjusted for the Marianas WW2 Map i will see if i can sort it out into a Suitable Narrow Gauge Steam Locomotive and also 4 wheel Sugar Mill wagons for Marianas over next few days.

You can see what im talking about see the Marianas Track Gauge in the picture with My Standard Gauge Garret Loco on it.

Thanks again for a great WW2 addition to DCS !

Are we contributing the global warmings due to heat from CPU/GPU because of running DCS constantly? No way!! LOL 🙂

Scott, I forgot to mention/report (maybe others already did) but approx half a year ago when a weapon (bombs) update/addon came out for the F-4E Phantom and we got a long (actually a tall) list on the screen in the PAINT AND LOADOUT window, (pylon 2 & 8 with bombs) so we cannot see the full bomb list when using 1920*1080 resolution (I like it better when my GFX-card-fans are noiseless therefore the lower res.).
- Mudhen anf Viper bombs list (bomb-column-list) close to "full" also - well, it's a bug and a wish same time: we need up/down arrows on the top/bottom of weapon column-lists or a slider to display a larger selection of bombs
GBU-12, GBU-24, GBU-8, MK-84 AIR is missing/not visible when 1920*1080 res is active. (@ the bottom of the column)

🤣 IMHO It just depends on the number of polygons visible on our screens :hehe:
