noted Client A-10C II's Not showing on TNDL/DATALINK (Request Gateway for L16)

F-16 TNDL used to show client based A-10s, and worked fine prior to the Datalink network config update over the last couple years. Through F-16 TNDL, we do not see our Client A-10s in the server. All other aircraft show just fine, whether both client or AI.

Wanted to see if there is any update with this, since its been an issue for quite sometime now?

correct as is. A-10C does not feature L16, only SADL.

Copy, now with that said - would there be a "Gateway" eventually modelled that would tie the networks together for this functionality, as per irl? Not just fighter-fighter. But fighter-awacs-fighter.

Also, with AWACS involved - why can I see every other AI controlled aircraft in the AO, but not client based A-10C's? Shouldnt the AWACS tx this data to Link16/TNDL?

That's disappointing, I remember a statement previously that it was being looked at or was planned for the future (could be misremembering though).  Kinda takes away a big selling point IMO for modern aircraft interaction in MP and like Wing mentioned frustrating when we can see basic symbology from AI F-16s (and F/A-18s). 

Hopefully it happens eventually, having the gateway modeled would greatly increase MP situational awareness.

I'm flying on F-18 with my buddy on A-10C II.

The problem we have is that my buddy can't see me on his HMD. He can see other players, can see friendly bots, but not me. I can see on my HMD everyone, including my friend. Sometimes I can see even enemy aircrafts.

I don't know for sure which one us is doing something wrong.

How I setup my Hornet's systems:
1. Press IFF, then `On/Off`.
Got: `XP` on UFC and:

 1 - 00
 2 <nothing here>
 3 C
:4 A

2. Press `D/L` once, press `On/Off`. Got `ON ... 336.0` on UFC.
3. Press `D/L` again, press `On/Off`. Got `ON ... 127` on UFC. Got data from AWACS on SA-page & radar.
4. Turning on my HMD by rotating switch CW.

As long as I can see him, but he can't see me I suggest that it's me doing something wrong. But I don't understand what. Is there something more I should do at startup?

The A-10's SADL is not link-16 bro. They are entirely separate tactical datalink's and dont cross-talk. You are seeing him because he's being tracked by an AWACS and you're getting that donated track over L16.

There is a problem with both networks, SADL and the L16. For the A10C (SADL) and the A10CII (L16 WIP with the new ARC-210, some settings are displayed but no operative in the ME yet, mainly the Gateway in order to connect with the L16). Sometimes IA flight are displayed over SADL (for non SADL equipped airframes) in the A10C e.g.

It seems that it will be corrected and adjusted in due time if/when all the DL system in the A10CII get revamped with the ARC-210.

Yes I know bro, I've talked to Nineline multiple times over the years on it.  Was simply clarifying your statement on what capabilities should exist for Link-16 and SADL to communicate.
