So...elephant in the room. Are they ever going to revamp the UH-1H? F-86? Mi8? Bunch of older models that need to get loved on as well that are in worse shape than the F-5E.

I will buy it even if zero new features. All the old modules need some upgrade, and people can't work for free. Better a huey 2 or a f-86 2 for 10 bucks, even without new systems, than a brand new mig

I was very happy with the update and have already purchased it, but I really wanted a digital radio and the aerial refueling probe to be added in the future as an option in the editor or on the radio to be activated according to the pilot's taste.

Any screenshot comparison. please? In the trailer, for me, it looks the same.

It may well be the updated cockpit is not part of the initial release. This would explain ED refraining from posting shots. Not to worry. The only thing that worries me is possible overdoing of old paint and weathering as we saw with F-14.

I’m not at my PC, but early reports from my retired buddy indicates the F-5 wing issue is fixed. They can still break, but you have to try.

Nice work on the F5 refresh, it looks great.

The 8 quid was worth it for the clean canopy alone, love it!

A short debriefing on the revised F-5. First of all, I would like to thank you for taking a look at the somewhat outdated jets again at ED. The F-5 has turned out really nice. The cockpit and exterior model look really good. And if I may say so, the skin for the Austrian Air Force is really cool. Thanks for that. BUT: the rework should have included a new radio and at least the VOR/ILS system. Unfortunately, as a package it is a bit thin. And what I personally find worst of all...the radar still uses the old and unfortunately unbelievably ugly clutter model. The sweep isn't really pretty either. And that is even more noticeable now with the new and really nice cockpit. You can't leave it like that at ED... at least you have to rework the clutter and sweep. There is now even a MOD that does it better and makes it much more beautiful. Unfortunately, there is a problem with the IC when using said MOD. So please consider to improve this. Otherwise, a big thank you for the rework.

Just because a mod doesn't pass Multiplayer integrity check it doesn't mean you can't post a link to it 😉

Honestly, this is the best take away.

It's great work and I was happy to part with it, but I'd like to see more capability as well. Though, it hasn't raised the overall price of the module. I think that's also a win since this is such a go to for so many new players.

Yeah no radar fix yet. Looks the same.

They can. I just got an answer that things like radar and clutter representation is not a part of the remaster. The cockpit, external model and pilot body is.
Perhaps they save it for Remaster II 😄
