The hydraulic pressure drops and is unrecoverable after engine start when following real life manual start up procedure regarding the cowl flaps. The proper procedure as per the actual operating manual for the F4U-1D is to fully open the flaps before even turning the battery on but in the dcs Corsair if you do this it depletes your hydraulic pressure and it is unrecoverable https://imgur.com/a/2FEbYN8

Weird Rocking Behaviour in Auto Hover & Auto Slave
Brigg replied to GrEaSeLiTeNiN's topic in SA-342M Gazelle
Yeah absolutely+1. I've only just discovered the Gaz and it's very quickly becoming my favourite bluefor chopper. Love the more analogue feel to it and hope Poly get their issues sorted swiftly and keep maintaining this excellent module -

Saw this and thought about installing it. Are people seeing performance gains with it or is it a case of placebo effect

Hi y'all As the title says, since the last update Petrovich won't speak to me anymore when I ask him to do anything either through start up or using/managing the sight and weapons. Done a couple of slow repairs but nothing, gonna delete and reinstall it tonight but was just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue. I can see his subtitles fine but don't get any audio from him Thanks

New Manston Airfield Normandy 2.0, ATC does not respond.

Welcome to modern society, they aren't the first and they sure as hell won't be the last company to be as you say 'professional' in how they do things. -

Tbh as it's a ww2 map I hope they are spending time ironing out ww2 kinks rather than modern atc. That being said some acknowledgement would be nice but Rob is right in saying that this is just how Urga roll so the best thing is to just wait -
Wait what it degraded after shutdown, yeah that's not right. It does seem that the plane that had the most rugged engine is also the most fragile in dcs at times. Also just to rule it out have you tried uninstalling the module then putting it back in

Yeah a Tiffy would be awesome

Yeah +1 to Nirvi's post
-
Yeah that's correct early models didn't have interconnected controls. Pilots were killing their engines often by retarding the throttle before the boost so the USAAF told Republic to come up with a solution as they had had enough of the size of the cheques they were writing them

I would say it is to do with carb air temperature as in the installation test flight manual for the -59 engine it mentions loss of bhp when temperature goes above normal operating temp

Water Injection locked after running out of water.
Brigg replied to Cerdon's topic in Bugs and Problems
You have to toggle the lock on and off -
Interesting, does increasing the res in the oculus app and add a smaller amount of SS in tray tools as opposed to leaving it default and adding a larger amount of SS in tray tools?

turn the gunsight brightness all the way to max and leave it there for a couple of seconds and it will uncage the pipper. once the pipper is uncaged you will be able to adjust the brightness accordingly. not sure why its modelled like this as its incorrect but it is what it is. anyhow thats how you do it
