i been trying to work on dropping bombs on P51 to try to get my head into upcoming corsair.. any specialties of corsair? if someone can help me with bombing in P51, much appreciated. im trying to follow air combat wing line bombing but cant lock on the method

there was a fix to the track replay system. i have to find time to test out, and if replay function is back, i will try to land on all carriers on the motion platform.. how things @BrassEm

hello cfrag... i been trying to get into warbirds bombing. i happen to run into a thing called a "range script" i like to make a mission that i could place a target and the script would give you impact data of the weapon you release.. not sure if DML does that..

does the range script still work as of 2025?

reading other ppl's comments.. im seeing replies to include using rudder for side slip, and to cut throttle during the dive....

in anticipation of the corsair.. i started to play with warbirds. spent time on the P51D mustang looked at chucks guide and saw details of wing line bombing. also watched air combat tutorial library youtube video and tried to implement. though the air combat video was produced with iL2, i tried to figure out what DCS settings for the most part and some videos and chucks guide, i gathered that the HUD is set to 30 wingspan, 24 range, sight mode to FIXED. i focused my run 5miles away in at 7000 feet at 220 to start my run in when the target meets the 70 deg mark of my wing. with bombing table saying to put target at 106 mils ( below the sight glass) i consistently come up short. i tried the lower altitude attack profiles, and by the time i finish counting 16 seconds, im about to kamikaze into the target... sometimes i add a lil rudder trim to counter sideslip on a few attempts.. still no luck What i am i doing wrong?

im just grateful i can be a human controlled kord machine gunner in DCS!

how can i test this? i have 9800x3d, and dont see overheat however, i disable Simultaneous Multi-Threading (SMT)
